Thanks for the Recommendation!
A majority of the weddings in which I serve as the officiant have come from personal referrals from other couples or recommendations provided online. And for that I say thanks!
Having served hundreds of couples as their wedding officiant and/or premarital counselor for 35 years has grown my friendship circle immensely. I continue to stay in touch with many of the couples as they update me on the progress of their marriage, announce the birth of babies or ask me to help them at a point of advice or spiritual need. And for that I say thanks!
All of us are wired up differently and for me relationships with people are important. I love getting to know couples and then customizing and briefly telling their story of love during their ceremony. Many coupes who contact me use those very words. “We want to get to know the person who is going to stand with us on our special day.” And for that I say thanks!
Mandy & Scott were married yesterday in a beautiful ceremony at the Cotton Mill in McKinney, TX. And thanks to the recommendation of Mandy’s coaching friend Chad whose wedding I officiated previously, they asked me to be their premarital counselor and wedding officiant. I can’t express how much fun and meaning standing with them last evening carried as they said “I do” for a lifetime. And for that I say thanks!
