Sonya is truly a guru when it comes to all things marriage! In her role as Marriage Ministry Director at Preston Trail Community Church in Frisco, Texas she has helped hundreds of couples build strong foundations for their marriages and in addition helps couples rediscover their love for one another.
Sonya is a non-denominational commissioned pastor and wedding officiant with over 20 years of ministry experience. She has officiated weddings locally as well as internationally and she enjoys working with couples to create a wedding ceremony that is personal, warm and full of love.
Sonya is also a certified premarital counselor through Prepare and Enrich, and she is a provider pastor by the Texas marriage initiative, Twogether in Texas.
On a personal basis Sonya is originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, has been married to her husband Warren for 25 years and they have three children.
